ヴァイオリン協奏曲 (ベルク) – Wikipedia
アルバン・ベルクの《ヴァイオリン協奏曲》は1935年8月11日に完成された。おそらくベルクの最も有名な作品であり、なおかつ最も演奏回数に恵まれた作品である。「ある天使の思い出に Dem Andenken eine Engels」との献辞が付されているが、ときにこれが副題のように看做されることもある。

アルバン・マリア・ヨハネス・ベルク（Alban Maria Johannes Berg, 1885年2月9日 – 1935年12月24日）はアルノルト・シェーンベルクに師事し、アントン・ヴェーベルンと共に、無調音楽を経て十二音技法による作品を残したオーストリアの作曲家。 1935年、アルマ・マーラーと彼女の2番目の夫ヴァルター・グロピウスとの娘でベルクも可愛がっていた、マノン・グロピウスの訃報に接し、「ルル」作曲の筆を再び置いて、ベルクとしては異例の速筆でヴァイオリン協奏曲を書き上げる。しかし、協奏曲完成の直前に虫刺されが原因の腫瘍ができ、これが悪化、手術を受けるも敗血症を併発しこの年の12月24日に50年の生涯を閉じた。

Dutch violinist Frederieke Saeijs won 1st prize in the 2005 Long-Thibaud Competition! Here she performs Alban Berg’s Violin Concerto at the prize winners gala concert in Paris Théâtre du Châtelet, October 2005, with the Orchestre National de France, conducted by Jonathan Darlington.

Frederieke Saeijs (Den Haag 1979) is een Nederlands violiste.
Dutch violinist Frederieke Saeijs (born in The Hague, Netherlands, on 25 January 1979) is the winner of the First Grand Prize as well as four special Prizes of the 2005 International Violin Competition Marguerite Long-Jacques Thibaud in Paris, France. Since 2009 Ms Saeijs is a violin professor at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, The Netherlands.

フレデリク・サイス(フレデリーケ・サイス、Frederieke Saeijs)は、1979年オランダ生れ、７歳でヴァイオリン(スズキメソッド)を始めた。1992年オランダ・ハーグ音楽院の特別クラスに入学。1998年デン・バーグ王立音楽院入学、学士・修士称号を得た。1995年と1998年にクリスティナ王女コンクール第１位。2004年からはアメリカ・ジェイコブズ音楽院でマウリシオ・フックスに師事。クリスティーナ王女コンクール、ジョルジェ・エネスク国際ヴァイオリン・コンクール等の受賞者。2005年にはフランス、パリのロン・ティボー国際音楽コンクールで第１位、同時にデュパン作曲のコンテンポラリー曲の最も優れた演奏に対するモナコ王子アルベールⅡ世SAS賞を含む４つの賞を受賞。2006年ソリストとして招待、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団と共演。以後、フランス、ドイツ、イタリア、日本、中国(香港)、台湾(台北)、ロシア、スコットランド、アメリカでリサイタルやソリストとして活躍している。またソリストとしても、オランダ室内管、フランス国立管、ロッテルダム・フィル、国立ロイヤル・スコティッシュ管、サンクト・フィルなどと共演。2009年３月、東京サントリーホールで行われた日蘭二大オーケストラ(指揮：小林研一郎) 日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団＆オランダ・アーネム・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団の合同演奏会に出演。2010年７月16日から25日まで、ピアニスト Nino Gvetadze（ニノ・グヴェタゼ）と共に中国公演(寧波市、上海市、貴州市、北京市)を行う。 （Duo Saeijs & Gvetadze, China Tour 2010）

Thank you very much for your very kind e-mail! I will have a look on your website as well. Isn’t it wonderful that we can be in touch with each other through the world wide web, though we are on the other side of the world and never met in person (yet)? I’m in the USA now to finish my violin study(Bloomington, IN). Next week I will fly to Hong Kong to play there, and it will be my first time in China/HongKong! I have been once in Japan (Tokyo, Suntory Hall)…and it was a very special experience, I will never forget the kindness of the Japanese people, very touching! Have you been in Europe? I am from Holland, next to the North Sea. I miss the wind from the North Sea here in Bloomington! But I can imagine the sea when I close my eyes…I wish you a lot of joy playing and teaching the guitar and mandoline, beautiful! And a lot of happiness and inspiration to you in Bihoro!
