Dear Music lover

£3,800!!!
It’s taken some time to get the final total, but our appearance at the Petersfield Festival Hall in a concert for The Petersfield Lions and the Petersfield Town Mayor has helped raise a fantastic £3,800 for several good causes in the area.

Our special thanks go to the Green A Team for their superb sound and lighting – simply the best!

A postponement
We’re sorry to announce that our concert scheduled for this coming Saturday in the New Forest has been postponed by the organiser.
However, early indications are that he’s already setting up a new venue and we’ll let you have details as soon as we have them ourselves!

What’s coming up?
Our next concert is in Waterlooville – part of the Waterlooville Music Festival. We’ve been invited back yet again and we’re playing in the evening on June 8th

Tomorrow’s Guitarists!
This YouTube video arrived just today and shows a group of young players from the Czech Republic playing one of our Musical Director’s arrangements. Slightly unseasonal perhaps, but really good playing.

New members
We;re delighted to welcome Gilly into our ranks – Gilly is a pianist and a Grade 8 guitarist, and the rumour is that she also plays the flute, so look out for us dusting down our evocative arrangement of Fields of Gold.

We still need more players though – our ideal strength is 14 players, so can we tempt you?
