News! Pablo Sainz Villegas for CAMI Music & Harmonia Mundi!

Dear Friends,

After years dedicated to the promotion and consulting of classical guitarists, I wanted to share these news that I consider extremely positive for the guitar world. One of the largest agencies of the world, CAMI Music LLC, has decided to incorporate Pablo Villegas in their exclusive artist roster, which includes luminaries such as Lang Lang, Paco Peña, Pepe Romero, Sharon Isbin, or recent Academy Award winning composer Alexandre Desplat.

This is great news for the community, and as former leader of PR Concert Artists I am thrilled to have been able to provide consulting services for Pablo during these two very essential years of his artistic development. He will be doing the World premiere of Sergio Assads Concerto at this year’s GFA, among the myriad of projects already under way. Later this year, his debut CD “AMERICANO” will be released with the prestigious Harmonia Mundi label.

CAMI Music is thrilled to announce the addition of star Spanish guitarist Pablo Villegas to its distinguished roster of international artists. A winner of many international competitions including the Andrés Segovia Award and the Gold Medal at the inaugural Parkening International Guitar Competition, Mr. Villegas’ 2015-2016 season sees him working with many important American orchestras including Pittsburgh, Oregon, Fort Worth, Cincinnati and Pacific. Americano, his debut album for the prestigious Harmonia Mundi label, will be released in September.

Pablo Villegas is hailed by critics as one of the world’s leading classical guitarists and celebrated as a natural ambassador of Spanish culture with performances in more than 30 countries since his auspicious debut with the New York Philharmonic under Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos at Avery Fisher Hall. Villegas is praised for performances as charismatic as they are intimate. With his singing tone and consummate technique, Villegas offers interpretations that conjure the passion, playfulness, and drama of Spain’s rich musical heritage.
