HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

What happens if you only know 3 words of a Christmas Song?
We have a soundclip you might enjoy, if only because it gets better and better as it progresses!
This was recorded two days ago, on a handheld phone off to one side of the players, so it’s not terribly well balanced. But it will give you a taste of the fun evening we had playing Christmas Music at one of Portsmouth’s Sheltered Accommodation complexes – our 6th visit there.

After the concert we adjourned for a Christmas party with Chillis and Curries and oodles of desserts, and two of us discovered that not all party hats are the right size…

Our next concert is February 6th at The Point Eastleigh – more details nearer the time…

シャーロット・メアリー・ヤング（Charlotte Mary Yonge、1823年8月11日 – 1901年5月24日）は、近代イギリスの小説家、文学者。ヴィクトリア朝のイギリスで活躍した女流作家の一人であり、神話や歴史・恋愛など多岐に亘る分野で創作活動に従事した。 1948年からヤングは児童向けに小説を書き始め、文才に恵まれていた彼女の小説は商業的な成功をよび、作家として成功を収めた。1868年、オッタボーンの南に新しい行政区が作られた際、シャーロットは新しい街の名付け親になるように頼まれている。彼女は統合された村の一つである「エストレイ」の名を現代的に修正してイーストリー街と命名した。（wiki/シャーロット・ヤング）
