LATEST NEWS
So what’s been happening since our last newsletter?
We’ve been rehearsing furiously in what is our “close season”, when it’s too cold for us to play concerts in Churches, and too cold for the audience too!

And as a result we have some new repertoire – some complex and some elegantly simple.

WHAT’S COMING UP?
One of our largest concerts for a long time is just 3 weeks away, on March 5th, at Petersfield, in SE Hampshire.
It’s in aid of The Rosemary Foundation, which provides a Hospice at Home service.
We’re playing at the Festival Hall, Petersfield, which has fantastic visibility and acoustics, and can seat almost 200 people on raked seating.

You will find booking details and directions to the venue on our concerts page.

If you are coming, it would be really helpful for our promoter, Anne Howson, if you could let her know your intentions, because it will make planning the interval refreshments so much easier.
To book tickets, simple “reply” to this email with your name and a phone number, and she’ll get in touch with you by email or phone (your choice).

This is a fantastic chance to raise money for a wonderful cause. Our promoter needs a big audience to cover the cost of hiring the venue, so do come along!

GUITAR LESSONS
If your new year’s resolution is to do more with guitar, or even, perhaps, to learn to play as a complete beginner, Derek, our MD, has one-to-one vacancies during the day – ideal if you are retired or working flexible hours. You can “reply” to this email, but if you want to read up a bit more first, visit Derek’s tuition pages.
