伊福部 昭（いふくべ あきら、1914年（大正3年）5月31日 – 2006年（平成18年）2月8日）は、日本を代表する作曲家。ほぼ独学で作曲家となった。日本の音楽らしさを追求した民族主義的な力強さが特徴の数多くのオーケストラ曲のほか、『ゴジラ』を初めとする映画音楽の作曲家として、また音楽教育者としても知られる。（Wikipedia）
