ロシアのクラシックギター演奏家イリーナ・クリコヴァ（Irina Kulikova）からのニュースレター： 日本及び世界の音楽ファンの皆様にご案内いたします。

写真： イリーナ・クリコヴァ（Irina Kulikova 1982-）は、ロシア連邦の都市チェリャビンスクで生れた。イリーナは６歳からギターを始め、12歳の時にはイングランドとイタリアで招待演奏を行う。そして、14歳からは米国やクロアチア音楽祭、ロシア、ポーランド、ドイツ、オランダ、オーストリア、スペインなどでソロコンサートを行う。2005年に初ＣＤを出す。2008年の国際ギターコンクールで優勝する。

Highlights 2010 – 2011 season

In the 2010 – 2011 season, Irina Kulikova will focus on two new CD-recordings with the Naxos label (including a CD with Russian composers).

Next to that, Irina will play a series of concerts in Canada and the USA and a concert with the State Symphony Orchestra “New Russia” at the VI Moscow International Festival “The Guitar Virtuosos” in the Tchaikovsky Hall.

Highlights for the summer of 2011 will be concerts and master classes on the special XXth anniversaries of the Iserlohn Guitar Symposium in Germany and the West Dean International Classical Guitar Festival.

‘It is the musician’s humble task to make an audience feel and understand the personality of the music they play. Egos that scream for attention block energy flows; true masters of sound are servants to music. This idea I compare to acting: an actor’s objective is to make the audience feel and understand a certain character in a story. If we don’t feel this character, because the personality of the actor is too dominant, then the actor himself becomes a disrupting factor.’
